Bumps

In the road, and on my skin.

It's that time of the month, and my skin is breaking out like nobody's business. It's disgusting!

I missed my appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon this morning. We forgot that it's only a half-day clinic on Saturday and overslept.

My work out plan is on hold because I'm a river of blood (Wen and I love to use this to refer to you-know-what), and I'm feeling so lethargic and bleurgh.

I'm also highly irritable and I keep picking fights with Bee. I thought my PMS monster had been silenced after months of inactivity, but obviously it was just lying dormant waiting for a time to strike.

I don't think I am a very pleasant company to be around at the moment.

Oh I hope you don't suffer from cramps as well! I don't mind the mood swings as much as those painful cramps! :'(

This is normal. I will normally put most of the things on hold during these period. You are not alone, gal :).

I hate it too! Apart from the side effects you have mentioned, my whole body would just bloat like a puffer fish! (>_<)

Fuzkittie: It's okay to be a cranky monster with bad skin for 1/4 of a month. The thing is, I'm not exactly a pleasant angel with flawless complexion for the rest of the month too, and that kinda sucks. :D

Iamthewitch: Oh I get cramps too, I just hate the mood swings more. I never used to have any PMS symptoms till the age of 23, guess I'm a late bloomer in that department. Haha.

Emotionalistic: Thanks, hun. It's not so bad now that I'm not working (Mr. T is the only victim suffering from my crazy hormones atm. Haha!), but I really hate being a grumpy biatch at work. :/

Doreen: Oh ya, that too! I hate looking down and see my bloated tummy! I feel like a balloon, and an ugly one at that. :(
