Anne Klein Torie Peep-Toe Tweed Pumps

I picked up this pair of beauty from Nine West in Avenue K a few months back.

I didn't plan on getting more heels (okay fine, I did), but they were calling out my name.

And it's my personal belief that when a pair of shoes catches your eyes and the last pair left is in your size, it's a sign for you to bring them home!

So I did. *Grins*

Afterall, every girl needs a pair of classic tweed pumps in her closet, yes? :P

As usual, these were tucked away and conveniently forgotten alongside with my many other shopping bags. Until I needed a pair of heels to go with my new strapless white dress by Zara for our Valentine's dinner.

So I took them out of the box, slipped them on, and fell in love all over again.

The black and white tweed fabric upper is accented by a patent leather trimmed collar and decorative buckle on the vamp.

Simple, graceful, and very Chanel-esque.

These come with 3 1/2" heels, but they are oh-so-easy to walk in because of the lightly padded footbed. Not only did they not pinch my toes, my feet felt cushioned and well supported the whole time.

It's not everyday that you come across a pair of cute heels which are comfortable at the same time, so these are definitely a keeper!

I'm a sucker for details, and these beauties hit all the right buttons with their dainty little buckle accents and the silver speckles in the tweed fabric.

(Now let's hope that I don't walk into a puddle with them!)

This peep-toe pump will add a special feminine and tasteful quality to anything you pair it with. A classy twist to a casual outfit, and a hint of sexiness to pretty dresses or formal wear.

Definitely a wardrobe staple, if you asked me.

What a gorgeous pair of shoes! I love peep toes, but dunno why the peeping window edge always bites my feet. May be my feet too fat. Hahahahaha

Tine: And at a fraction of Chanel's price!! :D

Che-Cheh: Aww..thanks, gal. :)

Iamthewitch: You're absolutely right, tweed is timeless! ^_^

Sdovelly: Don't be silly, hun. A gal can never have too many pair of black heels. They go with everything! :D

Sab: I actually tried taking pictures of the dress, but it just doesn't show up well on the camera? Maybe it's because of the material. So I decided against posting the pictures as they won't do the dress justice. I really should work on my photography skills. :/

Doreen: Haha. Nah, it has a lot to do with the design and craftsmanship of the shoes. A pair of well made shoes should never hurt your feet. Trust me, I learned that the hard way. :P

Fuzkittie: There's just this understated stylishness about tweed, yes? :)

Gio: Thanks! :)

Renaye: I got these from the stand alone Nine West outlet in Avenue K, but yes, Metrojaya and quite a few other department stores carry their stock too. :)

Lila: The price on the box says RM559, but I remember I got these on a very good discount. I can't remember exactly how much they were though since I don't have the receipt anymore. Sorry! :)

Ann: Speaking of boots, I just passed up a pair of slouch boots at 50% discount the other day! *Regrets*
