Chap Goh Meh (The 15th Day)

Or the Lantern Festival.

It officially marks the end of the whole 15-days celebration of Chinese New Year.

Bee and I went out with his family for dinner earlier tonight. I stuffed myself silly because, in the name of CNY, I was allowed to have all the unhealthy and greasy Chinese food without the usual nagging from Bee.

Think yee sang, Peking duck, suckling pig (my favourite of the night), etc. etc.. Yum!!

And now, I'm sitting here with an over-stuffed tummy, wondering how much weight (or bad cholesterol, for that matter) I'm gonna pack on from the over-indulging meal. -_-"

Anyhoo, I guess in more ways than one, I'm glad that CNY is over. Bee and I had been arguing way too often in the past few weeks that I'm almost starting to dislike the year of Ox. :|

Here's hoping that things are gonna settle down and go back to normal now.

Happy Chap Goh Meh, everyone! :)

I used to argue a lot with my dear when i was working in Malaysia. We argued at least once or twice a week. There is a lot!
Some says small argue improves the relationship. But I think when argue too much, it will only worsen the relationship.
Ever since I came to SG, we argue less. Maybe the lesser we meet, we treasure each other more.

I am also practicing "no eye see" and "one eye open, one eye close" policy.

A few days of stuffing won't give you much weight gal. Don't worry, things will get better. (^_^)

Sab: Thanks, gal. And yes, the food was too good that I couldn't help but over-ate. :P

Josephine: Thanks for sharing, hun. I completely agree, too much argument is definitely NOT a good thing. In fact, I don't see how any form of argument can be a good thing. :|

Prettybeautiful: Though I didn't have to start work, but CNY feels pretty much just like any other ordinary days to me these days. In fact, it feels less and less "festive" each year? Maybe it's a by-product of growing up. ;/

Doreen: Oh yes it will it will! It's so easy for me to gain weight these days and SO hard to shed it off. :(

Sdovelly: Thanks for trying to make me feel better, darl. I certainly do hope that it's just a phase, instead of "us". :)

Emotionalistic: Haha. I'm not a big fan of both, maybe that's why CNY doesn't really excite me that much anymore.

Iamthewitch: Thanks for the well wishes, hun. I sure do hope so too. :)

Lila: Here's hoping. :)
