Theory Test + Chicken Floss Rolls

I passed the first theory test for my secret project today.

It's actually a really really simple test, and I finished it in less than a quarter of the time given. Bee was still looking for a parking space after dropping me off when he received my phone call telling him that I had completed and passed the test. Haha.

But still, I stressed over it so much I didn't sleep well last night.

Even the most insignificant things stress me out big time these days, I'm telling you. :/

On the way home, we dropped by the nearest Bread Story to pick up my new favourite snack for afternoon tea - chicken floss roll.

It's basically an oversized Swiss roll thingy that comes as soft and fluffy sponge cake filled with Bread Story's signature "salad cream" and generous amount of yummy chicken floss.

You can't visibly see the "salad cream", but it's my favourite part of this roll. For the lack of better description, it tastes salty-sweet (instead of sugary-sweet)?

Oh it's fantalicious, even for a fusion-hater like me! :P

Salty + sweet!!!!! *Dies* I want some right now!! It'd be perfect for breakfast.. mmmm... sometimes I can't decide if I want salty or sweet food for breakfast, this would be awesome! Haha.

Are you taking driving theory test?

The roll looks tempting. I should try it in my next trip back, but don't think Kuching has Bread Story. Emm....need to ask around.

I've tried somewhat the same thing from Baker's Cottage. I love it!

Fuzkittie: I have it for breakfast too, AND afternoon tea. *Blushes*

I totally understand what you meant by the salty + sweet combo, it's the best! But some people think it's plain weird. Maybe it's an acquired taste for the elites? Haha.

Doreen: There're currently bumps in the road for my secret project, and it's very likely that I won't be able to complete it before I return to Oz, so I'd really rather not to reveal more about it at this stage. *Sighs*

You should definitely try it, hun. I'm not sure if there's Bread Story in Kuching either, but I'm pretty sure some bakeries would have duped this. I remember seeing floss buns in Kuching, not sure about floss rolls though. :)

Emotionalistic: Yeah? *High gives* Hehe.

I've recently discovered another thing that I like from Bread Story - Char Siew Sou (BBQ chicken puffs). It's weird though, they're not available in every outlet. If you do come across some, you should give it a try. ^_^

Josephine: No? Oh hun, you most definitely have to try this during your next trip back to KL. And trust me, you won't regret it. :D

Che-Cheh: Ooo..I didn't know that Baker's Cottage makes them too. Hmm, I wonder if they're as good...

*Thinking of the nearest Baker's Cottage outlet* Haha.

Lila: Oh yes, darl, you most definitely HAVE TO!

(Bread Story should really start endorsing me huh? Hehe.)

Sdovelly: Nope. Actually I might not be able to finish it on time now, so there really isn't much point. *Sad*

I think I jinxed it by talking about it. *Sighs*

Shirley: Oh it's only fair huh, sweetie? To repay what pictures of your cooking did to me all these while. Hehe. :P
