No If's and But's

I'm having a good time in my little home town.

Just got back from dinner with my family, and we had all my favourite dishes, including the Foo Chow sea cucumber soup (okay, I don't actually know what it's called, but I love it!). *Slurps*

It's great to be home, but at the same time, I'm missing my Bee a whole lot!

It seems like no matter where I'm at, there's always a "but".

I love spending time with my family in Swan City, but, something is just missing when I'm not with my Bee. And it is what it is, a really really small town with nothing much to see or do.

I love being with my Bee in KL, but, the void in my heart still yearns for the lifestyle and career that I left behind in Oz.

I love that I'm closer to Bee and my family when I'm in Malaysia, but, it's just not a place that I can see myself settling down for now. Or ever.

I love my life and work in Melbourne, but, it's lonely without my family and Bee around.

Today is Bee and I's 7th wedding monthiversary.

Here's hoping that, in the not-too-distant future, we'll finally find that balance that we've been looking for.

No if's and but's. Just us, together.

I love you, Bub-Bee.

I know how you feel. I feel the same too. I wish I could be closer to my family, yet I don't see myself living in Malaysia for good. Nothing is perfect I guess, that's why it's life!

Doreen: But at least you have your hubby and your career at the same time and in a place you like, so that's 2 out of 3. Mine are all in different places. :(

Fuzkittie: Thanks, darl. :)

Renaye: Those are the things you miss most about Oz? @_@

Sab: Here's hoping. :)

Aw,...how sweet! :) Congrats! Yeah, I know how you feel because I have similar future plan. Perhaps one day you could invite your family over to OZ? That would be perfect eh?

Sigh I know how you feel, I've been apart from my bf for a good 9 months now, and still we haven't found the balance yet. And that is, after 3 years of staying and working together in the same place! It's awful :(

Che-Cheh: Haha. Could it be that Blogger is acting up? I actually did the exact same thing when I tried to comment on another blog. And I clicked 3 times! @_@

Petite Lass: The thing is, none of them likes Australia. So no, no perfect solution yet. :(

Iamthewitch: It is, indeed, awful. And I can honestly say that it really doesn't get any easier no matter how much "practice" you've had or how long you've been apart. I should know. >_<
