A Moment to Grow Up
"When real people fall down in life, they get right back up and keep walking." ~ Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City)
I slipped and fell in the bathroom last night.
I got up and finished showering. Had my dinner. Washed the dishes. Like nothing had happened.
Then I realised, I'm all grown up.
No more crying until someone comes to your rescue. No more pouting and whinging so others pamper you like a 3 year-old. No more waiting for someone to call you a poor baby and tell you that everything is gonna be alright.
You gotta do what you gotta do, bruised knees or not.
Wen said everyone has a moment when they realise that they have to grow up and stop being a kid.
Mine was when my mum got sick.
What is yours?

when the reality of my pregnancy sunk in...
Eternity: I can imagine that. Hope everything is going well with the pregnancy. :)
