Today was the last day of our 3-day cooling off period.
Though I'm pretty sure that Bee has nothing to "cool off" about.
If anything, he's falling more and more in love with the house everyday.
And I guess I'm really starting to warm up to the house as well.
Whatever that was stopping me before, is not an issue anymore. Whatever that I couldn't see before, I do now.
It wasn't exactly lust at first sight, I gotta say, but it's definitely love now. And I have a feeling that it's the kind that would last.
Most importantly, it's the house in which we can both see us building a home together.
Our home. Our life together. Our own family.
So we met with the real estate agent and wrote a cheque for the 10% deposit, which was also, to date, the biggest amount on a single cheque either of us have ever written.
The deal is sealed.

Oh man, I remember the large check. So scary.
The building inspectors from your earlier post probably did a pretty good job. Since they are a smaller company, each customer has a larger say if something goes wrong (as in, a larger percentage of the talk on how good or bad they are). They usually want to keep people happy, instead of having someone come back with negative comments.
Spending an hour inspecting is a good sign, as well. I swear the person who did our inspection when we were buying were in and out in less than 20 minutes!
Kaoru: Yeah it sure was one big scary cheque huh? And there's more to come! ><
I'm really hoping that the inspector did a thorough job. I was a little worried at first since he didn't have some of the proper equipments, but he seemed to know what he was talking about, so fingers crossed! ^^
