Sleepless in Tassie
Bee and I are gonna spend the next few days catching up on sleep.
The long hours/distance of driving has taken its toll on Bee, and I'm completely worn out from the sleepless nights.
I hardly slept for all the 4 nights we spent in Tassie. Especially the last night in Hobart, I didn't get a wink of sleep! The box of Restavit that I picked up in Launceston totally didn't help, I was still tossing and turning in bed after 2 tablets.
I never used to have problems sleeping in new beds or hotel rooms. Is it a sign of getting old? :(
I was talking to Susan about how I felt so tensed during the whole trip. Walking in the jungles gave me the creeps, and sleeping in strange rooms made me so uneasy - both of which I've never had problems with.
She concluded that I'm too used to being a workaholic that I've lost the ability to just relax and have fun.
Bee thinks that it's only natural for a person to pick up a sense of danger when he/she becomes older and wiser.
I think I'd rather not be bothered by these stupid (I was gonna say unnecessary, but nah..) fears and be able to sleep like a normal person.
Must bring my sleeping pills the next time I travel.
Problems solved. *Grins*
